Natasha Young

Digital designer & information architect, Cheltenham

I discovered user experience design during my Digital Media degree at the University of the West of England. During this time I developed a keen interest in storing information, designing interactive systems for information retrieval, and user interface design. I have since had practical experience with a myriad of roles including Digital Production, User Experience and Interface design, and archiving.

My key areas of interest include:

  • UI Design
    • Adobe XD
    • Prototyping & wireframing
  • User Experience research and testing
    • Work-shopping
    • Interviewing
    • Running and analysing tests
  • Digital Production
    • Project management
    • Analytics and SEO
    • Umbraco & WordPress
  • Digital & traditional archiving

My most recent role saw me working at the Gloucestershire Archives as a Digital Archive Trainee for The National Archives. I learned how to use digital technology to organise information for long term storage and retrieval.
